All roads lead to Fendi

Fendi StoreFENDI’S first flagship store to carry the new concept design by Peter Marino is a mirror of Fendi’s and Rome’s history and present.

Palazzo Fendi is housed in a grand 19th century neo-Classical building originally known as the Palazzo Boncompagni. It is sited at the crossroads of old and modern Rome, a fitting address for a brand with a rich Roman tradition.

Palazzo Fendi is in the centre of Largo Goldoni, a crossroads of Rome’s most famous and ancient roads – the Via dei Condotti, Via del Corso, and Via di Fontanella Borghese, near the Spanish Steps.

The area has an ancient history. During the Renaissance between the 16th and 17th centuries, some of Rome’s most important aristocratic buildings were constructed here.

Ashlee Simpson With A Fendi Spy Bag

Ashley Simpson with a Fendi Spy BagSinger Ashlee Simpson was spotted by some paparazzi these days wearing the exclusive Fendi Moncler Spy Bag, which her sister, Jessica Simpson, managed to strike a deal to get it TWO WEEKS ahead of its Nov. 1 release, just in time for Ashlee’s birthday.

Now that’s a great sister.

The Fendi Spy Bag is the result of a small partnership between Fendi and the Moncler fashion house.

Only 500 of these will be produced, and most are already sold. For a price of $2100, I can’t see a reason not to be happy of owning one.

Ashlee got the first one. I wonder where the other 499 Spy Bags will go to.

Mumbai Makes Way For Global Fashion Brands

Last week Mumbai was studded with glamorous fashion brands, as the global elites like Fendi Burberry and Salvatore Ferragamo displayed their accessory collections at 5-star hotels, attracting Bollywood divas and major designers.

As the growing potential in India, luxury houses are making a beeline into domestic market.

Following the lead of their favorite stars, locals are also getting tempeted for lavish treats.

While jewelry artist Farah Khan Ali is a major fan of Fendi and Louis Vuitton gears, stunning Simone Singh is crazy for Prada, Chloe and Miu Miu footwear.

Koena Mitra loves a LV chocolate and brunette bag, others adore cute little purses.

In all there is no doubt that India is recognizing the essentiality of chic accessories that is making room for global boutiques, who are standing on one feet to grab new opportunities!

Fendi Launches a New Spy Bag

Fashion enthusiasts have another reason to get excited, because the Fendi house is launching a new handbag.

It will be named “Fendi Moncler Spy bag”. Unfortunately, only 500 of these will be produced for the US market, of which, half are already pre-ordered as Fendi’s Spokeswoman declared recently.

What’s more amazing is the enormous price. At 2,100 $ each, it truly is a limited addition… only for the rich and famous.

The bag is the result of collaboration between Fendi and the Moncler design house. It is made out of a water resistant nylon, with lots of accessories.

Although it will become available only on Nov.1, Jessica Simpson managed to get one ahead of time or her sister Ashlee’s birthday.

Fendi Did Not Miss the Milan Fashion Week

Fendi was also present at Milan’s Fashion Week with its new collection designed by Karl Lagerfeld. He displayed what he sees as silver fashion.

His models came on the catwalk wearing metallic dresses cut in various geometric dresses, which looked like the black and white patterns that were so popular in the ’60s.

The show wouldn’t have been complete is he wouldn’t have displayed the new Fendi handbags with silver meshing that will hit the stores very soon.

The silver platform sandals also made a huge impression, completing the Fendi Galaxy look.
